The Danish Orienteering Federation is pleased to welcome you to the IOF Congress and XXIII Ordinary General Assembly to be held in Aarhus, Denmark from 31st July to 3rd August 2006 in conjunction with the World Orienteering Championships.
The original invitation contains most of the information required in advance.

The official IOF hotel will be the Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel (for more information visit www.radissonsas.com) in the centre of Aarhus. The IOF seminar and the General Assembly as well as all IOF meetings will be held here. The hotel also serves as the official WOC 2006 Event and Media Centre.
The IOF Congress Secretariat opens on Friday 28th July at 08.00 a.m. It is situated beside the WOC Secretariat in the hotel reception area.

From Aarhus Airport
Aarhus Airport is very small. There is a bus service to Aarhus leaving after each scheduled flight arrival. The bus leaves from just outside the airport building and stops at Radisson SAS Hotel on request.
From Aarhus railway and bus stations
It is only a short walk from the railway and bus stations to the Radisson SAS Hotel.
The race will be very informal and is planned to be a good social occasion. You choose your own start time. There will be refreshments (sandwiches, soft drinks and beer), so please let Birthe Helms, in the IOF Secretariat at the hotel, know if you want to attend.
The reception is hosted by Aarhus City Council. Everybody accredited will be invited to attend. A light buffet will be provided.
Everybody accredited is invited to attend the WOC Banquet at a cost of 20 Euro, to be paid on checking in at the IOF Secretariat in the hotel.
