Entry Permits to Denmark

For further information and details of how to apply, please contact the nearest Embassy/Consulate of Denmark. Conditions of entry can change, and all visitors are advised to check on the latest information from the nearest Embassy/Consulate of Denmark.

A copy of the entry form enclosed with this invitation (See Bulletin 2) has to be attached to the visa application.

Final entry

The final entry for Federation teams with surname, first name, gender and date of birth of each competitor and team official must reach the WOC 2006 office no later than July 18th. Please use Entry Form E5 (enclosed). An electronic entry form E5 can be found on www.woc2006.dk/entries

The entry fee for competitors and team officials includes:

• Participation in the WOC competitions
and the model events
• Maps
• Start- and results lists
• Participation in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies
• Parking at all events
• Parking at the Event Centre
• Participation in the Banquet
• Participation in the Danish WOC Tour for competitors who do not qualify for the WOC finals.

Entry and accomodation form E1 WOC-teams (pdf)

The initial entry shall provide the following information about your team:
• The number of competitors (men, women)
• The number of relay teams (men, women)
• The number of team officials (men, women; max. 8 altogether)
• The name, address, phone/fax number, and
e-mail address of the Team Manager

Entries, including reservations for transportation and accommodation for Federation teams, must reach the WOC 2006 office not later than April 28th 2006.
Final entries for Federation teams with surname, first name, gender and date of birth of each competitor and team official must reach the WOC 2006 office not later than July 18th. For more details see Bulletin 3.

The entry fee for competitors and team officials is EUR 280.00 per person. This includes:
• Participation in the WOC competitions and the model events
• Maps
• Start- and results lists
• Participation in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies
• Parking at all events
• Parking at the Event Centre
• Participation in the Banquet
• Participation in the Danish WOC Tour for team members who do not qualify for the WOC finals.

Accommodation

As adequate accommodation we recommend the WOC Event Centre, the Hotel Radisson SAS, where we can offer attractive special WOC 2006 rates for accommodation and dinner (buffet style).

For lunch we can offer cooked meals in the WOC catering tents in the WOC 2006 finish arenas (EUR 10) or lunch packets (EUR 8).

Entries, Media Services

Entry and accomodation form E2 Media representatives (pdf)

We welcome all media representatives as our guests and partners to portray the exciting events and the cheerful atmosphere of WOC 2006 to a broad public around the globe.

The WOC 2006 Media Centre and also the WOC 2006 Event Centre are located at Hotel Radisson SAS, in the city centre of Aarhus. Full media services and facilities will be available. The main media conferences will be held there.

Extended media facilities will also be available in the arenas for the Long Distance Final, Middle Distance Final and Relay.
Reduced media facilities will be offered in the arenas of the Long Distance Qualification, Middle Distance Qualification, Sprint Qualification and Sprint Final.

Accommodation

As adequate accommodation we recommend Hotel SAS Radisson, where we can offer attractive special WOC 2006 rates, but only if the accommodation is booked through the WOC organisers no later than April 28th 2006.

Entry

Entry applications from media representatives (form E2) must reach the WOC 2006 office no later than April 28th 2006. The requested reservations will only be confirmed if the applicable payment has been received by June 30th 2006.

Entries, IOF Delegates and WOC Guests

The XXIII IOF Congress and General Assembly will be organised in conjunction with the World Championships:
Monday July 31st: IOF Seminar
Wednesday August 2nd: IOF/VIP/Media Race
Thursday August 3rd: XXIII IOF General Assembly, and IOF Reception hosted by Aarhus City.

As adequate accommodation we recommend Hotel SAS Radisson, where we can offer attractive special WOC 2006 rates.

Entry

Entry applications from IOF Congress delegates and other IOF officials (committee members etc.) and other guests (form E3) must reach the WOC 2006 office no later than April 28th 2006. The requested reservations will only be confirmed if the applicable payment has been received by June 30th 2006.
