Aarhus is situated in an area with a good transport infrastructure - it is easy to get about by all means of travel. With motorway connections in all directions which start a maximum of 3 km from the Event Centre, it is a short travel time to all competition areas. It is possible at all venues to drive close to the event arenas and facilities.

Inter-city trains start from the main railway station 200 metres from the Event Centre, with direct connection to Copenhagen and its international airport travel time about 3 hours and to Hamburg 4 hours.

The international airports at Aarhus and Billund, 30 km and 70 km respectively from Aarhus (can be reached within 1 hour) have good connections to Copenhagen (SAS) and a number of major cities in Scandinavia and Europe.
